Mason, OH - Clopay Plastic Products Company strengthens its commitment to new business development with the expansion of the New Business Development team. Clopay's New Business Development team will support the corporate initiative to grow the business, diversify the mix, and accelerate technology innovation.

Evaluating markets from diverse perspectives early in the development process helps to define the unmet needs, technology required, and how best to create a sustainable position in the market. "Diversification is key to accelerating the development cycle," said Nancy Eichstadt, Clopay's Director of New Business Development and Marketing, "and our new business development team brings a wealth of experience from a variety of disciplines and market perspectives. Together we have the ability to identify and deal with critical issues early in the development process rather than later when they cause excessive delays and added expense."

Joining the New Business Development Team is Dr. David Bland, Director of New Business Technology, with twenty years of research leadership experience with a focused effort in new business development for a major international chemical company.

Nicole Gerwe joins the team as an associate scientist with a diverse background in automotive, baby care, and beauty care industries.

Also joining the team is Chris Faust, New Business Development-Sales & Marketing Representitive. Chris brings twenty years of experience in sales, marketing, and product management in the packaging and printing business.
